James spent over four years refitting his 1965 Alberg 30 in Los Angeles. When he finally set off for good, his 32 days alone across the Pacific included 1,000 miles without a rudder!
Now cruising the South Pacific with a refurbished Hydrovane he installed in Hawaii, James is fulfilling his dreams of a slow circumnavigation of this beautiful world.
